- Sharing of your Personally Identifiable Information with Third Parties
- We do not share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties (i.e., neither you nor us) except in the circumstances described below. We expect these third parties to use commercially reasonable confidentiality and security measures and to implement their own privacy policies; however, we are not responsible for their collection and use of your Personally Identifiable Information. You should refer to the privacy policies and statements of those other companies or contact them directly to obtain information regarding their information collection, use and disclosure policies.
- Sharing with other users of the Services
- In order to match you with prospective crew or employers. some of your Personally Identifiable Information may show up in their search results, favorites, history, or other features of the Services. They can see some of your information — for instance (but not limited to) your name, city of residence, and contact information — and you may be able to see theirs. You can control some of what they see in your settings.
- We may provide a way for other subscribers to contact you via email, text, or voice, and that may include – with your permission – revealing your email address or phone number they can use their own email service or phone to contact you.
- Sharing with Third Parties So We Can Provide the Services
- If you optionally log in to the Service using credentials from third party social network such as LinkedIn, we encrypt and transmit that login to them in order to validate it.
- In order to perform our optional employment verification process, we may need to share some of your Personally Identifiable Information with former employers that you listed on your profile.
- If you participate in our referral program and provide us with the email addresses of associates who might want to subscribe to the Services, we may use your name in our introductory email to them.
- In order to set up or modify your credit or debit card payments, we will securely transmit your name and address along with your credit card information to our payment processor.
- We manage our customer support on a third party platform, and support tickets and associated emails will include at least your email address as well as any other information you might provide in order to help us resolve the problem.
- Sharing with Third Party Email Services
- All emails to TourReady.com, and most emails from us, are processed by our email service provider, who will have access to your email address.
- We use a third party to send transactional emails (for instance, if your credit card expired), and we pass your email address to them when necessary to send you a message.
- If we send you newsletters or similar information, we provide your email address to our external email management and delivery service.
- If you opt to receive promotional messages from our marketing partners, we will share your email address with them.
- Sharing With Third Party Text Messaging Services
- If we send you a transactional text alert — for instance, to notify you of a job offer — we transmit your mobile phone number to our third party text messaging service. In turn, the message and your phone number are passed to one or more “aggregators” and to your mobile phone carrier.
- Sharing with Mobile Notifications Services
- We anticipate that we will send notifications to your mobile device if you have our app installed, even if you are not currently using it. As with all such notifications, for this to work, both the notification provider – such as Apple – and TourReady will have some way to uniquely identify your account and your mobile device.
- Sharing With Third Party Analytics Services
- Different internal and external analytics tools and services may track your visits and activity on the Service by using your IP address, cookies, or other technology to distinguish one user from another. While this is not currently linked to your user account or profile, it is possible that in the future we might link this activity information to information in your profile – such as city of residence and your job – and this combination of information could be sufficient to personally identify you. In the future we might use your activity — or lack thereof — to trigger certain events. For instance, if you have not logged in for a certain period of time, we might use an outside service to send you an update about what you have missed. This might result in some of your Personally Identifiable Information, such as your email address, being transmitted to the third party analytics company.

- We take commercially reasonable measures to protect against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or deletion of your information. Information in transit from your browser or application to our servers is encrypted. The information that you provide to us is stored on servers which are located in secured collocation facilities with restricted physical and network access. Our hardware, applications, databases, and networks are protected by protocols and procedures designed to ensure the security of the information they contain. We restrict access to information under our control to our employees, independent contractors and agents who need to know this information in order to develop, operate and maintain the Services, all of whom are bound by agreements requiring them to keep all our data, including Personally Identifiable Information, confidential. The consequences of a breach of this confidentiality obligation may include termination and criminal prosecution.
- Although not explicitly “shared,” all information passing between you and us travels through the public internet, which consists of your internet service provider, our internet service providers, telecommunications carriers, hosting and colocation companies, content delivery networks, and other parties.
- Some of these organizations may have their own independent access to information about you.
- That traffic is encrypted using industry-standard methods but could be visible to an entity, such as a government agency, with sufficiently powerful tools.
- Once we receive a transmission from you, we will endeavor to maintain its security on our systems and those of our service providers. However, we can not protect user information all along the multi-party delivery chain. No server, computer or communications network or system, or data transmission over the Internet, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect user information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or or access via the Services. We can not guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. You acknowledge and agree that you provide such information and engage in such transmissions at your own risk.

Once deactivated, information associated with your account is no longer visible to other subscribers to the Services; however, it is still visible to our staff, contractors, and agents. After a predetermined time, most of the information associated with your account, such as your profile, will be deleted. Some basic information, such as your user ID and password, may remain.

Note:
There have unfortunately been reported incidents of people reaching out to Crew members, sending a false check to the Crew to work as a personal assistance, and then requesting a wire of cash prior to the false check bouncing.
If you receive any similar sort of communication, please avoid these scammers completely!
