THE MOST ANTICIPATED TOURS & FESTIVALS OF 2016

Wednesday // January 6, 2016

While 2015 was filled with amazing shows, it is time to say "hello" to bigger and better things in 2016! From Adele’s sold out tour to a Guns N’ Roses reunion to Rihanna’s long-delayed album ANTI, we can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store. So we’ve put together a list of the most anticipated Tours and Festivals of 2016 to help you jump on a gig and get on the road.

TOURS

Adele – Adele Live 2016
July 5-Nov 16 - There’s no question that the biggest tour of 2016 belongs to Adele. More than 10 million people tried to buy tickets for her sold out North American shows.

Justin Bieber – The Purpose World Tour
March 9-July 19 - Bieber released his fourth album, Purpose, in November and will embark on an elaborate arena tour not to be reckoned with.

The Cure
May 15-June 26 - This will be The Cure’s first time touring North America in 8 years and will include the band’s most recent member lineup.

Rihanna – Anti World Tour
Feb 26-May 7 - The album may be long-delayed, but you don’t just start a world tour with the album title and no album. But even without ANTI, this lineup won’t be one to miss.

Coldplay – A Head Full of Dreams Tour
TBD - This may be the last time for fans to see Coldplay live as they embark on their final tour. The North American dates haven’t been announced just yet but they should be soon.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Jan 16-March 17 - At each date, they’ll play The River in its entirety and each show will be recorded and uploaded to Springsteen’s website.

AC/DC – Rock or Bust World Tour
Feb 2 -Apr 4 - AC/DC exploded back onto the music scene after their 2015 Coachella performance and will have their second North American leg in 2016.

Black Sabbath – The END Tour
Jan 20-Sep 21 - On the band’s official website, it says, “Now it ENDS, the final tour by the greatest Metal Band of all time, BLACK SABBATH.” Get ready to say goodbye in 2016.

FESTIVALS

Coachella
Coachella has developed a reputation for luring artists out of retirement, and 2016 is no different. Set to headline this year’s festival – LCD Soundsystem, Guns N’ Roses, and Calvin Harris.

BottleRock Napa Valley
This three-day festival features the best in wine, food, craft beer, and live music. This year’s headliners include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, and Florence + The Machine

Hangout Music Festival
Usually Coachella is the first festival we hear a lineup from, but Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival got in early this year. The beachfront event boasts an eclectic slate of headliners including the Weeknd, Calvin Harris, Florence + The Machine, Alabama Shakes, Ellie Goulding, and Lenny Kravitz.

Firefly Music Fest
Featuring headliners Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Florence + the Machine, and Deadmau5, it’s packed with artists who put out new albums in 2015 and also includes old heroes like Blink-182.

With 2016 just starting, we’re looking forward to hearing the lineups for the rest of the big names in the festival business (Bonnaroo, we’re looking at you). Did you grab a coveted spot working one of these gigs? Let us know!
